For many elderly individuals or those with limited mobility, the bathroom, shower room, and changing area are often the most accident-prone spaces. Slippery floors, enclosed spaces, and time spent alone – a fall or sudden illness, if not detected promptly, can lead to serious consequences.
Rondish has partnered with multiple local care facilities to deploy intelligent fall sensors and prolonged-stay alert systems. These solutions significantly enhance safety in restrooms and changing rooms – without requiring users to change their daily habits.
【Product 1】Intelligent Fall Sensor – 24/7 Protection with Instant Alerts
The Rondish Intelligent Fall Sensor utilises advanced mmWave radar technology (60GHz) to continuously monitor human activity within a space, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unlike traditional wearable devices, it requires no on-body equipment – users remain completely undisturbed while benefiting from round‑the‑clock protection.
The sensor accurately identifies two types of high‑risk situations:
Sudden Fall – Instant impact or rapid descent triggers an immediate alert
Prolonged Immobility – Extended periods without movement, possibly due to dizziness or physical distress
When an abnormality is detected, the signal is transmitted in real‑time via the Nexus system to caregivers’ monitoring panels or pagers, ensuring that critical response time is not wasted.
No wearables, zero contact – smart protection, naturally.

No need to worry about humid environments – the sensor features a waterproof-rated design, purpose-built for bathrooms, shower rooms, and other high‑humidity spaces.

Product 2】Prolonged Stay Alert – Smart Monitoring to Prevent Hidden Dangers
Beyond falls, prolonged stays in enclosed spaces can also be a red flag. If an individual remains in a restroom, shower, or changing room for an extended period, they may have suddenly fallen ill or lost consciousness.
The Rondish Prolonged Stay Alert System works in tandem with the fall sensor to intelligently monitor the duration of each occupancy. Once a preset time threshold is exceeded, the system automatically sends an alert to the care team, prompting an immediate check‑in.
This feature is particularly valuable in scenarios such as:
High‑risk users who may require extra assistance
Night shifts when staffing levels are lower
Busy care environments where continuous visual monitoring is not always possible

Alerts are transmitted instantly to the nursing station monitoring panel, enabling the care team to respond swiftly and make the most of the critical golden rescue window.
